Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries is a Christian organisation serving local communities in Glasgow. We are embarking on a food bank programme with support from institutions like yours because we know alone we may not be able to meet the growing demands of the people we are already reaching and many more coming through our doors. Our aim is to serve items such as soup, rolls and/or sandwiches on Sunday morning, in addition to grocery items such as tinned foods, and other non-perishable items to families who can't afford these items as a result of financial hardship or benefit cuts Premises for our Project operation We are located at 331 Charles St, Glasgow G21 2QA where weekly Sunday meetings are held from 10 am and Friday meetings 6pm . How we identify service users and their needs The church set up a Welfare Committee, saddled with the responsibility of screening and identifying people in need especially the less privileged ones. The welfare committee refer identified individuals and families to the Food bank team for food collection. Hollybrook Academy is an Additional Support Needs Secondary School in Govanhill, Glasgow. We want our students to develop self-confidence and to become responsible and caring global citizens. They are amazing! We strive to reduce inequality, celebrate diversity and raise achievement and therefore, our students need to gain employability skills. However, it is very difficult for students to transfer those skills into the world of work for the lack of work experience opportunities, particularly after the pandemic. We established a partnership with a local church where students will prepare, cook and serve healthy and tasty meals for local residents who may benefit from having an opportunity for a friendly social interaction and a hot meal. Students will gain real work experience, with social purpose, in a nurturing and safe environment. We need surplus of food and catering resources for the success of our Very Special Café. About The Hollybrook Fund: The Hollybrook School Fund was constituted to advance the education provided by the school and to spend funds raised to obtain the provision of additional educational resources, and to finance extra-curricular activities which cannot be completely financed from public funds allocated to the school by Glasgow City Council in disposition of its statutory responsibility.

4. the objects of the trust are: 1 (a) to relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused hereby in the glasgow south east area, as generally recognised by social work departments. these persons will generally be in a state of crisis, and will be referred to glasgow se foodbank by various welfare organisations. (b) to promote and fulfil such other similar charitable purposes beneficial to the community in the glasgow south east area as the trustees may from time to time think fit (c) to advance the christian faith in accordance with the statement of beliefs appearing in the schedule hereto in the united kingdom or other such parts of the world as the trustees may from time to time think fit
