By providing access to nutritious food and the opportunity to learn valuable cooking skills, we aim to foster greater food security and resilience in our community. The Bridge Notts is dedicated to delivering initiatives like our breakfast clubs, which bring warmth, nourishment, and connection to elderly residents in Nottingham’s independent living schemes. Additionally, our Munch Clubs provide a welcoming hub for families, offering them a comfortable, warm space where they can enjoy a free or low-cost nutritious meal together. To keep these vital programmes running, we rely on generous food donations from local businesses, organisations, and individuals. These contributions are essential to ensure we have a steady supply of ingredients to serve our community and to expand our reach to even more families and individuals facing food insecurity. With your support, we can continue making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, creating a more connected and resilient Nottinghamshire. In addition to food donations, we welcome volunteers to help with preparing, cooking, and serving meals. Financial contributions are also valuable to fund the purchase of staple ingredients, cover operational costs, and maintain our facilities. We promote cultural diversity and inclusion through a range of exciting resources, training workshops as well as support/signposting for those persons affected by racism or discrimination. We also provide a hot meals and food parcel distribution to persons in need within the Nottingham city area.
