Looprun is a response division and part of an independent social enterprise. This is more than food and is part of a supportive services platform to help people get sustained in their own individual way. With up to 94% success rate and seeing once those receiving free Looprun response bags to returning to stores as shoppers with baskets full. These are the impact stories created when all come together to do good for good. Service users are signposted to Looprun mostly from referrals including professionals in social and healthcare. Looprun provides free non perishables, perishable food, toiletries, and brand new clothing to people facing a temporary challenge. Whatever supermarkets, stores, and retailers can do is turned into a grateful donation to a neighbour in need. This is a response to real people in real-time. No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with food donations. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle. We found that our community had little support for people suffering Alzheimer's, Dementia or Memory Loss. Myself and 5 other carers decided to open our own club in June 2015. To our surprise we now have over 100 members!!! We are so proud of what we have achieved in a very short space of time. We play games in the morning and every week we organize a paid entertainer to sing, we encourage everyone to join in and dance. For a small charge of £3.00 each we are able to provide tea, coffee, biscuits, cakes and snacks. We are now also able to provide a light lunch every week. We try to bring happiness and laughter not only to the service users but the carers who also needs support. We are a non profit self funding club and totally rely on kind donations and volunteers. We do request every one has to attend with a carer, friend or relative. We would appreciate any help that you could offer.

Bounds Green Food Bank was established in June 2020 as a resource for those in need in our community. As members of the neighbourhood, our volunteers reflect the wide range of backgrounds and beliefs of those living in our part of North London. We are united in the vision that everyone in our community should have access to food. We set our own guidelines on how people can access the food on offer. This independence enables us to give guests the products they particularly need; which includes allowing a choice from what’s available including fresh produce, store cupboard essentials and cleaning products. Vision We envisage a community in which everyone has access to food and other essentials. Mission Our commitment is to share food across our community and improve lives by providing food and essential household items to build a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow. We aim to: • Promote social inclusion by supporting people who find themselves in a crisis situation where they need assistance to feed themselves and their families. • Provide first tier support and advice where needed, so that people can access available welfare entitlements and other support services. • Create opportunities for both guests and volunteers to broaden their skills and experiences so that we as a community develop and grow.
