Love Heart Community CIC is a community-driven organization committed to supporting families and individuals facing hardship in Coventry and Warwickshire. Established on June 14, 2024, our work began as a response to the needs of refugees, struggling families, single parents, and those experiencing homelessness. We provide free hot meals, food parcels, and clothing to those in need, ensuring that no one goes without the essentials. Our doors are open to anyone who needs assistance, offering not only food and warm clothes but also a place of comfort and care. At Love Heart Community, we believe in strengthening our community through compassion and are dedicated to making a difference, one helping hand at a time.

The Lutterworth Community Fridge aims to help people in the Lutterworth and surrounding area to decrease food waste and it's absolutely free to use! The Fridge is open Mondays and Wednesdays 10.30am-11.30am and Thursdays 1-2pm to enable residents and businesses to share surplus food and for anyone to help themselves to quality food that would otherwise be wasted whether that be to supplement the weekly shop, try something new, collect some food for a neighbour in need or simply to help the environment. Food waste is a big issue in the UK. The average household throws away £700 worth of food every year and at the same time 4 million people in the UK are living in food poverty. Most food waste in the UK is avoidable and could have been eaten had it been better managed. On average last year the Lutterworth Community Fridge saved over 1500kg of food a month from going to landfill. The Family Hub is more than just a Community Fridge, we are a one stop shop for all a families needs from 0-19 and (to 25 year for young people with SEND). Hope4 aims to relieve poverty among homeless and badly-housed people in the Borough of Rugby and works to prevent homelessness. To achieve this, we work with local agencies that help homeless people, or people in danger of becoming homeless. Plus, we influence the homeless support projects implemented by Rugby Borough Council. Our day centre is called the Hope Centre - it's here for homeless and badly-housed people who are referred to us by local agencies. We also run a 'food ministry', Hope4U, serving hot food and drinks to adults in need. Our Winter Shelter offers supper, beds and breakfasts to up to 15 rough-sleepers a night during the winter months. You can help us to support the homeless and badly housed people of Rugby in lots of ways. You can give your time and join our friendly volunteer team.
