How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Central & Cecil Housing Trust Organisation

Teddington, UK

Homemead provides dementia care up to 26 residents. All our rooms are single occupancy, although we have 4 rooms which are large enough to accommodate family/partners who are living with dementia and wish to share a room. We can also provide respite care for a temporary stay at the home. We welcome applications from private individuals, as well as referrals from any local authority. Homemead is committed to providing a high quality service, and we pride ourselves on the excellent care and support we give our residents. When you choose Homemead, you can expect the best. Since Mrs Chesterton founded our Organisation 90 years ago to provide refuge to homeless young women, we have continued to offer inspirational, person centred care and support to vulnerable people. We are the housing provider "where inspiration lives". We aim to be inspirational in everything we do and to promise our residents and service users the very best service. We believe that life in care can be truly inspirational. We know that for many of our residents a simple conversation can be a valuable social interaction, and our homes are often a hive of activity with thriving communal spaces.
