We are a hostel for men with complex needs and experience of homelessness. When men are referred into our service, they are often not having their basic needs met. Our team support them to build the skills to live independently. This involves supporting residents to: -receive and maintain their benefits entitlements -register with health services (including mental health and drug and alcohol services) and receive treatment -build community through recreational activities, education and training, volunteering and work -develop strategies to manage finances, emotions and relationships As many of our residents find it difficult to remember to eat regular meals and/or prioritise spending for food we need support to meet these needs. We have also found cooking as a household every week as a fun way to bring everyone together and share skills and experiences. Any donations Neighbourly partners can offer will be gratefully received.

Our organisation provides a safe and Warm Space for members of the local community within the Brixton area enabling them to feel a sense of belonging through socialising and promoting active engagement with others whilst feeling respected, valued and supported through positive interaction. We will be organising events, workshops, trips and a community food pantry for older adults, families and vulnerable people. Our community food pantry will help those being affected by the high cost of living and food poverty, where we are supporting those in need with affordable fresh fruit, vegetables and long life items. We will be operating from The Remakery (www.remakery.org) which is an eco friendly organisation that promotes recycling and reduction of waste. Our food pantry model is more empowering than a food bank as we are allowing people access to weekly shopping, choosing the items that they want for a low cost weekly donation. We are encouraging community members to stay for a tea/coffee after or before they have done their shop where they can meet and connect with other people and share ideas about how we are able to support them by shaping the future direction of HHC and what projects they would like to see and participate in. Our projects will focus on: - Mental Wellbeing - Social Inclusion - Improving the local environment - Physical Health

Ace of Clubs is a family-like community providing transformative support for homeless, vulnerable and otherwise marginalised people in our area. At our centre on St Alphonsus Road, we provide for the immediate needs of those in desperate circumstances with safety, food, warmth, clothing, laundry and showers. From this welcoming start, and through friendly and genuine care, we seek to build relationships with people. The team at Ace of Clubs is skilled and focused on linking people with a wide range of services, including accommodation, welfare, rehab, training, healthcare and many others.
