CPMI is a religious institution - specifically, a Pentecostal church which serves individuals and families of all ages, and from all backgrounds and races. we meet for services during the week and on Sundays for prayers, worship, fellowship and to study the bible. We also make financial and non-financial contributions to other churches, ministries and individuals (members & non-members). We support the community at large by undertaking various outreach activities including foodbank and pastoral counselling. During this Covid-19 crisis we have increased our offerings to include food parcel, prescription and shopping delivery as well as a befriending telephone service to meet the demands of those in need in the community. We operate from 92a Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath. CR7 8LX The service users are normally directed by the Crisis organization, Job Centre and Croydon Family Support Team. We also identify service users that come to our organization to tell us their situation. We do not charge for the services provided by our organization. Slap bang in the middle of one of the poorest Borough in London lies the amazing Woodside Primary School. Many of our families struggle with consistently feeding their children. Children often come into school without breakfast. We continue to do what we can with the limited resources we have. However, we believe we can do much more with your support.

The Covid crisis is difficult for everyone, but what is particularly difficult is speaking out about struggling without breakfast clubs, school lunches and the extra strain on foodbanks. We want to help that. After spending time volunteering at the foodbank, JAGS CEO Tracey thought more needed to be done to take the pressure off food banks and families who are barely getting enough food to last a week. After speaking to parents and realising donations only stretch so far, she thought about how it was best to support families during the Covid crisis. “I find it hard to go outside or even to the shops to pick up groceries, food prices have gone up, even in the market” - Mum, Charmaine “I get fruit and veg vouchers but the food does not last long” Mum, Kim We are delivering FREE weekly, tasty, and nutritious meals! Parents are having to stretch limited ingredients out longer and make more meals because they are feeding all mouths, all the time. We promise to make meals every week during lockdown to provide free, nutritious meals to families that need some extra support.
