We are a group of local professionals from across the Sutton community who actively work together to plan, deliver and implement projects aimed at achieving positive outcomes for those who live, work and travel to the London Borough of Sutton. Our network draws on the experience, observations and combined expertise of its 30+ members including: Accountants, Analysts, Marketing Directors, Project Managers, Nurses, Social Workers, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Transport Operatives and Ward Coordinators. We believe that the most effective way to deliver our projects is through partnership working, utilising existing resources to promote a strong and sustainable community culture. By combining our overall skill set with the resources of our partners we are able to deliver and implement new and inventive solutions to the evolving needs of our community. Our sole objective of the network is to support anyone in need, creating a truly inclusive environment.

COMMUNITIES FIRST FOUNDATION Charity No. 1117143 | Company No. 05107524 About Us: • Communities First Foundation is a registered charity committed to empowering local communities by providing essential support, resources, and programmes tailored to families, young people, and seniors. • In addition to running a charity, applying for funding, and delivering impactful activities, we manage a sports centre in Croydon and a community centre in Sutton. • These facilities serve as vital hubs for community engagement, well-being, and development, enabling us to build stronger, more resilient communities. Our Facilities: • #Merky FC HQ: Hub for physical activity, sports coaching, and community programmes. • Bedzed Pavilion: Venue for educational workshops, social activities, and engagement events. Our Services: • Educational, recreational, and health & well-being programmes for all ages. • Mentoring, enrichment, and life skills activities for young people and families. • Access to community resources, guidance, and grant opportunities. • Management of safe, accessible spaces for local residents. Who We Support & How: • Needs are identified through community consultation, partnerships with local schools and foundations, and direct engagement with beneficiaries. • Programmes are tailored to the specific needs of families, young people, and seniors. Access & Charges: • All Communities First services are free of charge. Community Engagement & Impact: • Press coverage, social media, and reports such as the Communities First Impact Report showcase our work. • Activities promote physical activity, well-being, social inclusion, and a sense of purpose and belonging. Food Surplus Programme: • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate holders and Food Safety Agency ‘5’ rating. • Surplus food is distributed to families and community members in need, reducing waste and supporting nutrition.
