We befriend people to relieve isolation and loneliness while informing of opportunities around them, supporting them to achieve potentials by improving skills already possessed through volunteering/ work experience and placements and or providing new skills for life chances and sustainability. Based in a rented shop unit in Grahame Park Estate, 7 The Concourse, NW9 5XB, used as a Church meeting place on Sundays, we provide Youth Club on Thursday and Friday evenings, warm space in cold weather and cool space in warm weather and provide health & wellbeing activities for people aged 55+. We offer seasonal parenting programme to strengthen families and our community. We provide daily good surplus food redistribution to relieve food hunger and to prevent wastage towards Net Zero 2050, and weekly food bank with fitness exercises, and monthly nutrition advice session with social prescribing. We offer advice and referrals as needed. We provide employment skills training towards self-sustainability. We also provide financial support funded by Acts 435 and household support fund in collaboration with BOOST of Barnet Group. HAB provides the following Services through the Day Centre Monday to Friday Day Centre Services The Day Centre provides a wide range of services to meet our clients needs. These cover practical needs as well as advice and advocacy on a number of issues. The Day Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm (except Thursday 9am to 2pm) If you are living On the street or In a squat In temporary accommodation (B&B,Hostel) In danger of becoming homeless or need help to maintain your tenancy You are welcome to attend the Day Centre and we will try to help HAB provides the following services - Free Breakfast until 10.30am - A cheap meal served 12.00 - 1.30pm - Free Breakfast until 10.30am - A wash/shower (toiletries available) - Free internet access - A Clothes Store offering good condition new and nearly new clothes and shoes - Tea and coffee - Laundry facilities - Someone to talk to who will listen and help you to get the help you need - Advocacy - Help to access housing advice and finding accommodation - Referral to Winter Shelters - Referral to Tenancy Support - Counselling - Access to medical services The Day Centre is a place of change and provides services for homeless and vulnerably housed individuals who have a connection with Barnet. HAB does not provide housing but we will provide support to access various housing options in and around the London Borough of Barnet. Tenancy Support Services HAB has two Tenancy Support Services. One is a Floating Support Service provided by Outreach Barnet and the other is a partnership with the Foundation Project to provide temporary accommodation while trying to secure a tenancy in the private sector. Health Services A range of services provided by the local CCG to meet the needs of our clients who are not able to access community based services

Holy Trinity Foodbank Stroud Green is an independent foodbank based at Holy Trinity Church Hall on Stapleton Hall Road, London, N4. Founded in August 2013 to support individuals and families struggling to access/afford food, we offer food support for residents of Stroud Green (and adjacent areas). We work with local agencies and organisations to identify those needing help for themselves and their families, and also accept clients on a self-referral basis. We currently assist over 250 individuals per week. We are based at, and kindly hosted by, Holy Trinity Church Stroud Green. We serve clients of all faiths or none, and of all nationalities, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities. Everyone is welcome, and our team will always behave with respect, warmth, and courtesy. We are very fortunate to have a supportive local community which donates food, and also money so that we are able to afford the substantial quantity of food we need to buy to ensure that we can continue to offer help where it is needed. We are also keen to play our part in reducing food waste, which is a particularly difficult issue to see when we know so many lack nutritious food. We are grateful to the Felix Project and our supermarket partners via Fareshare and Neighbourly - Sainsbury's in Crouch Hill, Crouch End, Hornsey, & Wood Green; Aldi Harringay; Lidl Finsbury Park, Stroud Green, & Wood Green; Gail's Bakery Finsbury Park; and Waitrose Crouch End & Holloway - for donating their surplus and/or front-of-store donations. We are open on Sundays from 1.30-3.30pm, and can accept food/toiletry donations during this period and on Thursday mornings from 10-11am.
