Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.
Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food and money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.
Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

We support people who are in crisis or trapped in poverty with compassion and dignity. We do this by providing emergency food parcels, which offer practical, immediate relief in moments of crisis, and by connecting people with local organisations who can help them to address the root causes and wider effects of poverty in their lives.

The Newington Green Action Group (NGAG) and St Judes & St Paul's Church have come together to set up the Newington Green Food Hub. Since summer 2021, the local need for food has increased so we run a weekly FoodHub & Dropi-in for local residents in need of Food packages. We are feeding an average of 100 people each week.
