Mary's

London, UK

Mary’s is an independent local charity based at the heart of Islington on Upper Street serving the communities of Islington and London-wide. We deliver open access, inclusive youth services, co-run with young people: a provision that helps young people from all backgrounds to be better connected and better equipped with the skills and confidence to form and engage with supportive networks of friends and family, health and social services, businesses and organisations. At present about 75% of the young people who become members of the youth club are eligible for free school meals. We stay open 50 weeks of the year and provide a weekly Friday night dinner as well as snacks at each of our activities throughout the week. We also provide the food for our day trips and camping holidays.

Arc Collective

London, UK

Islington stands as London's foremost borough in child income deprivation. As many food banks close their doors, the burden on The ARC increases. Our aim? To ensure no one in our neighbourhood goes hungry. The ARC's dynamic food distribution network is dedicated to helping those in Islington struggling financially. Our care packages brim with nutritious staples, from fresh produce to wholefood ingredients. Thanks to partners like Gail's Bakery and Pophams, we've continuously expanded our offerings. How Your Business Can Make an Impact: - Donate Essential Foods: Support with basic and fresh food items to boost our community's health. - Financial Aid: Help us maintain consistent supplies with contributions towards bulk food purchases. - Supermarket Sweeps: Rally your team for a spirited challenge! Compete in a timed race to gather as much food and essentials for the food bank. It's team-building with a cause. - Gardening Days: Become a part of our mission for sustainability. Join us in the gardens and assist in growing fresh produce directly benefiting our food bank. By investing time and resources, your corporate team can leave an indelible mark on Islington.
