The Marylebone Project is a Registered Social Landlord set up through a partnership between Church Army and the Portman House Trust. We provide 112 long and short term beds to homeless women and offer essential facilities and support to women who visit our rough sleeper’s drop-in at the Marylebone Centre. The Marylebone Centre also delivers education, employment and training opportunities and meaningful activities in order to support service users into independent living. The Marylebone Project social enterprise, Made in Marylebone, provides a catering service (Munch in Marylebone) and Central London meeting venues (Space in Marylebone). Through doing this it offers training and work experience for service users whilst producing ongoing funding for the Marylebone Project. Those we support are often affected by substance misuse, unemployment, domestic violence and mental health issues. Whatever their story, we aim for the same ending; self-esteem, employment and independent living. We do this by providing shelter, emotional support, education opportunities, spiritual space, and events in a welcoming and secure environment. Our ethos is that each woman is a very special person and through the themes of: Spirituality - that God loves each person regardless Hospitality - that all are welcomed Empowerment - equipping women to make informed choices Resettlement – encouraging and supporting women towards independent living We believe that we are and will continue to make a lasting difference.

Together In Westminster Community is a community-led organisation dedicated to empowering families, women, and young people through cultural, educational, and wellbeing programmes. We provide a safe, inclusive space for learning, support, and community connection, especially for refugees, migrants, and low-income families in Westminster and surrounding areas. Our centre includes a multi-purpose community hall, meeting and classroom spaces, and a small kitchen where we prepare and distribute food to families and individuals in need. We identify service users through a combination of: Community outreach, Referrals from local Cllrs, faith organisations, and Westminster City Council departments, Direct engagement with families already attending our centre,Ongoing needs assessments via one-to-one conversations. All our services, including food support, are provided entirely free of charge to individuals and families facing hardship. We are committed to removing barriers and supporting our community without creating additional financial pressure. we provide: Free Arabic language classes for refugee and migrant women, Wellbeing and creative workshops for women and families, Signposting and support for housing, education, and employment, Youth engagement, volunteering and leadership programmes, Interfaith and cultural events to build community cohesion, Support with digital inclusion and school applications All services are provided with a focus on dignity, accessibility, and cultural sensitivity. At present, we do not collect surplus food from any retailers. We currently rely on small-scale donations from individuals in the community, including families who want to give back and occasional support from local well-wishers. At Almanar we have a busy and vibrant kitchen. We cook for the community on a very regular basis we have group of women ( hubb community ladies) they provide meals for the community and beyond. At almanar we are committed to tackle food wastage and hunger where and whenever we can, we open our door to all regardless or race or religion. We have collaborated with the Red Cross on their refugee day and provided a selection of dishes for their beneficiaries. On the Monday and Thursday evenings we offered dinners to the local community that was fasting or needed a meal, just to mention a few as we have many other projects ongoing and incoming. This is why food donations are so important to us it allows us to carry on cooking and helping and makes it in some way sustainable.
