How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Another Way @ Harrow Club

London, UK

Each year we will engage with young people, aged 14-21, who are at a high risk of, or currently are, involved in criminality and high-risk behaviour. We will do this through a detached youth-work model whereby youth- workers and trained community volunteers will engage with young people on the streets late at night and bring them back to our Youth Centre for free food and fun and interesting/developmental activities. From these sessions the young people will be paired with mentors who will support them into our own, and partner, services and activities offering support such as therapy and work focused training.
