The foodbank helps individuals and families in crisis, through the provision of emergency food supplies. A network professional care agencies refer people to the foodbank centre where people receive food. For clients in rural areas we deliver emergency food boxes. Each person receives enough nutritionally-balanced food for three days. This process directly helps members of the public in crisis.

Café Abundance is a not for profit project which intercepts food that would otherwise be wasted to create tasty, nutritious meals on a Pay As You Can basis, holding regular community lunches and shop tables, and catering at local events, tackling food poverty, environmental issues and social inclusion/ exclusion.

Hamoaze House was incorporated on the 30th June 1998 and attained registered charity status on the 7th July 1998. Hamoaze House addresses changing patterns of behaviour for people with multiple and complex needs including addressing whole families. The experience service users expressed was that many were locked in treatment for years and they were looking for something different, they were looking to a sustained drug free life style. Through consultations and constant feedback we are always looking at being flexible and honest in our approach to treatment and sustainable exits. We encourage physical activity, mindfullness and independence. At Hamoaze House we offer a range of activities. We offer a safe space and a healthy supportive environment. We take a pragmatic asset based approach to individuals, their families and their communities. We are part of a City Alliance of organisations working with people with multiple and complex needs. We also provide space for a Winter Provision for the Homeless. At our Seymour House site we provide alternative complimentary education support for those young people on the verge of exclusion or are excluded from mainstream schooling. We run after school clubs in sports and trampolining, alongside a youth club.
