We are a volunteer led and run community service set up as a consequence of Covid-19 supporting the local community with fresh food and other items which would ordinarily be wasted. We ask for a £1 donation for the items we offer and we are open to anyone who can come along to us, no referral needed. SHARE Wokingham is a locally founded food sharing charity (registered number 1195620) with 15 sites in Wokingham and surrounding areas. Each week SHARE helps over 2000 people in our local community who need support foodwise by redistributing an incredible 40 tonnes of food from local supermarkets and food suppliers that would otherwise go to waste. No referral is required. Our food sharing is for anyone who feels they could do with some help – even if just temporarily. Everyone is welcome. No questions are asked. You will just find friendly faces and plenty of fresh produce.

ABOUT US: Aid for People Foundation is a registered charitable organisation that provides help and support to the elderly people in need throughout the UK. In particular, it provides direct assistance to elderly people affected by Alzheimer’s dementia, or other debilitating illness with the aim of keeping them living an independent life for as long as practicable. While the charity raises funds nationwide, it remains committed to a 'local for local' funds distribution strategy. The organisation works closely with local community What we do: • Being the voice of and for people with Alzheimer's and dementia nationally and locally Visit sufferers in care homes and in their own homes. . Befriend people living with dementia and support them. • To relieve poverty, sickness and distress who are in need by reason of age, infirmity, disability or youth • To promote charitable purposes especially for such purposes for the protection and preservation of health • To advance education by the provision of education and training through educational and training activities • Support people of any community

We work to improve the lives of the homeless, vulnerable and those in need within our community. the term 'in need' encompasses all situations whether due to poverty, deprivation, mental illness, terminal illness, any other disability or general vulnerability. we aim to generate income to enable us to assist where we can, responding directly or acting as a catalyst in working with other bodies.
