How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Positive Network Community Project

London, UK

The Positive Network Centre is a Community Integrated Care centre that provides a number of day services for predominately African/African-Caribbean elderly and young people. Our hugely popular day centre aims to provide the quality of life for older people and those with long suffering disabilities: physical, mental, learning and sensory. We provide recreational and leisure activities and a weekly luncheon club “Calypso Kitchen” that provides wholesome and tasty freshly cooked meals with a Caribbean influence. Our Food Bank at Positive Network helps and supports the local community and those that find it difficult to do weekly shops due to the Covid-19 outbreak. We supply food for our members and other members of the local community that need support. The Positive Network Centre is a registered charity and social enterprise that is run by a management Committee.
