How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with food donations. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle. Vincentian Care Plus

London, UK

Vincentian Care Plus takes its values and ethos from the teachings and example of St. Vincent De Paul, a Christian and social reformer who co-founded the Daughters of Charity in 1633. Vincentian Care Plus is proud to be a daughter company of The Daughters of Charity, upholding their values of compassion, dignity, and service to those most in need. Guided by their ethos, we are committed to supporting individuals and families facing financial challenges. The ‘plus’ in our name reflects our commitment to doing more for the people we support, and is driven by a clear social mission to address emerging poverties and improve lives. We adapt that founding mission to address today’s social needs for the benefit of everyone, irrespective of religion or belief. As part of our care, we regularly distribute food parcels to service users in need, ensuring that those facing financial shortfalls have access to essentials. For individuals in particularly dire circumstances, we also conduct emergency shopping to provide immediate relief and address urgent needs. In addition to food support, we assist with utility top-ups, helping to ensure that service users can meet basic living requirements and maintain their well-being during difficult times. Through these efforts, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Vincent believed in action rather than words and in hands-on service to support people in need.
