At Nottingham Central Women's Aid, we are dedicated to providing a safe haven for women and children escaping domestic abusers. We offer secure, temporary accommodation and comprehensive support services, for women with or without children who have endured any form of abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, or economic as well as so-called "honour" based violence and female genital mutilation (FGM). We provide a secure environment where women and children can find immediate refuge and safety from abusers. We offer emotional and psychological assistance to help women rebuild their lives. We welcome women and children from all backgrounds, ensuring that every individual receives the care and support they need. Over the years, Nottingham Central Women's Aid has accommodated thousands of women and children. We have been a cornerstone in helping families recover and heal from the harm of domestic abuse and a core support in enabling them to rebuild their lives in a safe and nurturing environment. Continuous support is crucial for the sustainability of our refuge accommodation and community services.
