community HUB based in Broxtowe Nottingham. We regularly collect food from Asda Tesco fareshare also. We provide a one stop shop of activity, training, support, mental health isolation support and activity every day. We partner with Nottingham Forest Community Trust, Forever Young CIC, bilborough helping others Himmah, community food parcels and many other local organisations. We offer a holistic support service of whole family whole person and enable growth for individuals. Welfare benefit support, volunteering and so much more. We operate from Strelley social club and we are open 8 to 7pm Monday to Friday. We do not charge for our services. Donations can be made. We also run a community cafe, partner with Cadent for energy advice and support, groundwork green doctors and so much more.

Brinsley Food Bank is a non-profit community group helping people who are suffering from financial difficulties by providing food parcels. We are based at the Parish Hall, Cordy Lane, Brinsley and are open every Wednesday from 10am til 11.30 for residents to collect food parcels. We cover Brinsley, Underwood, Jacksdale and Westwood.

Bulwell Forest Garden is a 2.7 acre site owned by Nottingham City Council with whom Bulwell Forest Garden entered into a twenty year lease commencing 2012. The site includes a community woodland and orchard, vegetable growing beds, ornamental borders, a sensory garden, wildlife pond, medicinal garden and a wildflower meadows. Facilities include a poly tunnel, composting toilet, outdoor kitchen with community cob oven, office and storage. As a result of the cost of living crisis and COVID-19, Bulwell is experiencing extremely high levels of poverty, mental health issues and physical health problems. Through working in partnership with Bulwell Foodbank, social prescribers, housing providers and adult services, we enable people to have some control over their own solutions. To achieve this, we deliver a wide range of regular activities take place at the garden including: Garden and conservation volunteering sessions (4 days/week) Weekly Lunch Club (including active engagement in growing, harvesting and cooking produce). Grow, Cook and Play, Family activity days during school holidays. Community events (eg Harvest Festival and Community Picnics). Educational Workshops (from growing own produce, composting, environmental sustainability to willow weaving and “green” craft activities). Music in Nature toddler session (1 day/week) Wildhearts Forest School (1 day/week) for 6-11 year olds experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, social, emotional and educational challenges. Saplings Eco Club (1 day/week) for 11-15 year olds, including conservation, gardening, nature based crafts and helping with family events and fundraising Use of garden by local community groups. Primary school visits. The Big Friendly Wildlife Project (2 day/month) Outdoor yoga and pilates (2 days/week)
