Sainsbury's Burton On Trent

We are a Christian based charity, who are going out into Burton, Derby and Nottingham city centres to provide essential items and provisions to those who are homeless or living in hostels. We are looking to provide food, hygiene packs and clothes! Our main aim is to show kindness and support those people in providing for their needs! We have recently been using trollies to take the items around with us however we are in the process of buying a trailer which will allow us to use this surplus food to make hot meals within the trailer, these may include: soup, chilli con carne and chicken curry etc. We hope that the trailer will be with by the end of July. We have only been a registered Charity for around a month and so are in the very early stages of supporting people. So far we have helped around 25-30 homeless people each time we have gone into the city centres and are looking to go out each Thursday evening.

We are a soup kitchen supplying food, support and a place of welcome to the homeless and needy in our local community. We are open lunch time Monday, Wednesday & Friday every week. We offer hot food, clothing, toiletries, hygiene and sanitary products to our clients. Anyone who visits us will be fed and helped. No one goes without food and support.
