How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

And we are also here to help in practical and tangible ways, by providing a regular programme of outreach for Seniors, and Carers and Toddlers, and the Community; a space for community groups to meet; safe space, food, and a listening ear for those experiencing loneliness or difficulties in their daily lives; assistance in just providing the basics for living; and advice and help for taking the next steps on life's journey.
