Who we are Changing lives Forever (CLF) is a non-profit charity international development organisation that was set up to tackle poverty, homelessness, hunger and general human suffering across the United Kingdom. As part of our commitment, CLF strives to break the cycle of poverty in the lives of individuals and communities through sustainable, long term solutions. What we do CLF aims to alleviate human suffering by offering a better and suitable alternative, whilst changing the lives of people, without regard to gender, age, ethnicity or political or religious association. We distribute food, clothing, and basic living amenities to anyone who comes to the attention of the charity. The charity supports its existence by fundraising and donors’ contributions. Changing lives through Food CLF operates a food bank, and serves hot and cold meals to anyone who is in need. Through the food bank there will be systematic distributions of food parcels to the homeless and needy in the community. From time to time, tinned products and non-perishable items will be organised for communities. Changing lives through education Our education projects are targeted to community education centres, libraries and facilities for schools and colleges, also providing basic school supplies for children to support those attending schools. Changing lives through empowerment The foundation works with all communities and less privileged people, with the aim of helping them realise their potential in the world and change the lives of others, and with your support we have the potential to help them do it. From fundraising events to corporate donations, the foundation will ensure that every gift goes towards helping those who need it most. Donated items are sorted and processed for distributions by volunteers. Postage rates vary depending on destination and are dependent on quotes from couriers. Getting involved with CLF makes a difference to the lives of the people the organisation is working with. Each year the foundation relies on the generosity of the public to raise half of the funding it needs to carry out its work. What can you do? Our work is dependent, to a great extent, on private donations from faithful partners who have made the foundation their life’s work. At the very foundation of relief and development, these donations develop entire communities, making life worth living for millions of people

Community led charity with a focus on social cohesion. Providing food aid to 600 people every week, baby items, educational intervention, free sport activities for youth and financial support for disadvantaged families across St Albans, London Colney, Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City. SACP holds a food hygiene rating of 5 at our unit with fridges/freezers/storage space in AL3 6EN. We have 50+ volunteers who between them hold food handling/hygiene certificates and are DBS checked. Food parcels are packed at the unit and delivered to doorsteps where needed or ppl collect from the unit. The service is free of charge and all volunteers are unpaid. We support 600ppl a week with fresh produce boxes. Referrals are made by other local organisations and authorities including schools, health visitors, family/social workers, Refugee Council, St Albans Old People’s Trust, Druglink, Citizen’s Advice Bureau, residents’ associations and more. The Need Project collects food and other items for distribution to needy people in the Central Bedfordshire and surrounding area. We receive referrals from statutory agencies who are in contact with the people who are most in need. We are passionate about inclusion and being non-judgmental is central to what we do. We believe that everyone has the right to have food on their plate, dignity, skills, a chance to work and hope for the future.
