Waddesdon Hall is a charitable organisation that serves as a community space for residents and organisations. With the goal of supporting the community, we act as a focal point for community-led projects and initiatives. Our primary aim is to run projects that benefit local people and provide them with the opportunity to thrive and realise their full potential. We bring the entire community together. Our objective is to foster inclusivity and engagement among people of all ages and backgrounds. By creating a welcoming environment where individuals can interact, we address issues of loneliness, isolation, and depression. Volunteer involvement also plays a crucial role in achieving this objective.Our main objective is to improve the well-being and quality of life for all community members. Other charitable purposes - Children/young people - Elderly/old people - People with disabilities - The general public/mankind - Provides buildings/facilities/open space

Space (Aylesbury) offer support and care to adults in Aylesbury Vale going through difficult times for whatever reason(s). We support people who are going through relationship difficulties, depression, bereavement, unemployment, mental health problems, loneliness, or any combination of these issues. We provide: A safe place to unwind and think A free and confidential listening service. Someone who will listen to you in confidence and without judgement Trained and friendly listeners who can give you time in a quiet area, away from the group if this is what you want. Information about other organisations and sources of support and help. A chance to meet others at our drop-in's and events. Time to enjoy the company of others, have a chat and enjoy company. A counselling service. Our Objectives are: To increase beneficiaries overall wellbeing (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual). To reduce beneficiaries social isolation. To increase beneficiaries confidence and independence. To give opportunities to (re)gain life skills that can result in future volunteering and paid employment. Space (Aylesbury) is open to all regardless of faith, age, sex, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability. Space first started in 1987 with one Sunday drop-in at St. Mary’s Church. It has grown organically and in response to the need presented. In 2017 we were awarded a Dignity and Respect Award by Buckinghamshire County Council. In the same year we were the Aylesbury Town Mayor’s ‘charity’ of the year. In 2018 we became a registered charity.
