We reach out to our local community with food parcels and also meals. We fight to alleviate poverty and make sure people have food to eat and also ensure that food is not wasted. We also provide support to children and families in the community. We are able to achieve our vision and carry out our activities through free will donations and support from community members, food surplus which we share to people. We are a religious charity group based in Mansfield and support approximately 150 people weekly including adults and children. We currently operate from our permanent church address The new address : The Redeemed Christian Church of God Miracle Chapel Mansfield Former Methodist Church Bridge Street MANSFIELD NG18 2HA We also had the Environmental Health team visited us on 08/10/2024 for Food Safety Inspection and we were awarded 5 star rating. Service users are members of the church community and we also share with our neighbours in the community as shown in the pictures on our page. In addition, we are also planning to run a weekly soup kitchen for homeless people when we get to our permanent property. We are currently registered with Fareshare UK and we collect surplus from 2 different Tesco Extra stores located at Chesterfield road south and Jubilee way,(both in Mansfield). We just secured approval from Fareshare UK to collect food surplus from main Asda, forest town also in Mansfield.

Our centre opens 4 days a week and offers support to all of our local community, and is available to anyone without the need for a referral. We work tirelessly to tackle food waste and provide food, non food items, support and access to services to all. We offer surplus food, free of any charges (membership fees etc) to ANYONE within the community and aim to support those most in need. Hot meals are supplied 3 days a week and non perishable emergency food parcels are provided to those in need and we NEVER ASK QUESTIONS... Our goal is simple: 1. To tackle food waste 2. To ensure that EVERYONE has what they need Our services are available to the whole community without prejudice and we are committed to helping those in need- regardless of circumstance. We are a fully inclusive centre and pride ourselves on equality. We are fully volunteer run and have an amazing team on hand, ready and willing to do everything possible to provide help, support and safety for all

At Brightside Housing, we are all about helping people get back on their feet. We offer safe, supported housing for those in Mansfield who are going through tough times—whether that’s facing homelessness, dealing with mental health struggles, or battling addiction. As a not-for-profit company, our mission is simple: to give people the support and dignity they deserve to rebuild their lives. We have several homes across Mansfield where our residents can feel safe and secure. We take great pride in the quality of our homes because we want our residents to not only feel safe but also proud of where they live. We believe that having a clean, well-maintained home is a key part of restoring dignity and stability in their lives. We work with local councils, community groups, and support agencies to make sure we’re reaching the people who need us most. Whether it’s help with budgeting, managing mental health, or just finding a way forward, we create personalized plans to help everyone get back on track and become more independent. But it’s not just about housing or surplus food. We’re committed to offering more—from emotional support to practical help like teaching life skills and providing guidance on managing day-to-day challenges. We’re really passionate about giving people the skills and help that they need to live independently and thrive. Of course, we can’t do this alone. We’re all about working with the community—local businesses, volunteers, and organizations—because we believe that when we work together, we can create real change. We’re always looking for support in many forms: surplus food, funding to continue our work, and volunteers who are willing to lend a hand and make a difference.
