Provision of services, human resources, help & advice to those in need in the local area and further afield, of any age or background. We are currently running a project called Re:Store; a community cafe and food service where anyone in the local area can come for a drink and a chat before accessing our food service. Entry to the food service costs £2, and allows people to collect short dated food, which would otherwise be wasted, and use it to feed their families. So as well as combatting food waste, we are helping families in need and providing an opportunity for them to meet up with others over a free coffee. Entry to Re:Store is open to anyone living in an S18 postcode. There is a waiting list for the food service but the cafe can be used by anyone.

(Receiving free school dinners) ✅ Baskets of Hope Distributed to local schools & organisations for those in need. ✅ Baby Essentials Bank Nappies, clothes & supplies for families. ✅ Listening & Chaplaincy Service A caring space to talk, with signposting where needed ✅ Community Health Team On‑site basic health checks — date to be confirmed . ✅ Safe Space A welcoming, non‑judgmental place for everyone .

The project aims to develop and create fantastic, long-term opportunities to build a better future for our children, their families and the Arbourthorne Community. The aim of the project is to address the root causes of hardship by bringing new ideas and solutions into our community. We aim to create a can-do environment where ideas can be developed, supported and taken forward by the school, parents, children and the local community. We are setting up a range of early projects and schemes that will begin to address: • Food poverty • Fuel poverty • Health and nutrition • Enterprise and local action
