We are now feeding over 1000 people per month many struggling to buy food. This in turn stops many from shop lifting and helps those who desperately need help. We operate on a referral basis from various agencies including the Council, Police, Homestart, Housing Associations, Job Centre, local churches and local Community Groups. Our clients are usually homeless, jobless, elderly, infirm, low income workers and those in temporary financial difficulties. We supply our clients with a good variety of food which also includes frozen and fresh food. We have now moved to B6 7QA about 5 mins away. We were on GMTV plus central TV Gmtv have been to our foodbank twice and seen the work we are doing win helping to provide food parcels to those in need. Go Dharmic is an UK registered charity providing assistance to those in need via food and clothes distributions. We currently run 15 weekly food banks across the UK and growing. We distribute surplus food to help families, elderly and homeless and anyone in need of the surplus stock due to cost of living and poverty. We have a what’s app chat and support people from olio and we welcome new users to join our group chat every week if they need food. I collect surplus food from Tesco, Asda and kfc and this goes to helping a lot of people We don’t charge as all food we get is free so we pass it on to help others. Our group are a scout group and we help young people make friends gain valuable skills and help with donations when we go to elderly homes or homeless shelters.
