How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

We would be very grateful for donations of surplus food from local businesses to enable us to provide snacks/food to parents and children, within our groups and programmes. It will also enable us to provide food to families in crisis, who are experiencing food poverty. Our service operates across five sites within Hartcliffe, Bishopsworth, Stockwood and Bedminster as well as utilising other community/outreach spaces
