How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Good Company (Surrey) is a charity that runs projects including the Foodbanks (Leatherhead, Banstead, Epsom, Ewell & Tadworth), the refugee network and the Epsom Pantry, as well as offering support work. Our mission? To see a community free from poverty, where everyone can afford life's essentials. We first opened our foodbank doors in October 2012 and since that date have fed and supported thousand of local people. We are able to provide long life food, toiletries and a listening ear to those who need it most. The food is donated by local people - through Churches, schools, supermarket collections and local businesses - for local people.
