We gave away over 32 tonnes of food in 2025 to those in need and worked with others to lay on a free weekly community meal and a warm hub cafe, recycling food that would have otherwise gone to landfill. The purpose of Meet, Greet and Eat is to provide a safe and integrated environment for individuals with additional needs, those being learning difficulties and/or disability to come together and create a project they can call their own. Through working with surplus food, the individual will be part of a team who will cook, bake and provide light lunches and afternoon teas to the elderly and isolated in the community. This will give the individual the confidence and experience to step up to volunteering, work experience and/or paid employment with other organisations or business.
