Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.
Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.
Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Reducing food waste ending up in landfill by distributing to the local community. The Dussindale Centre Community Fridge is one of the most successful community fridge projects in Norfolk, running since April 2018. Run by Thorpe St Andrew Cllr Jonathan Emsell the project is totally community based with no running costs and just focused on reducing unnecessary food waste. Normally open 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. A range of chilled and ambient goods available but no guarantee that items will always be available. If you have an urgent need for food, please contact a food bank, our community fridge is all about reducing waste and not about need. Anyone can take as much as they like, although we do ask that everything taken is used.
