Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.
Through Neighbourly, Sainsbury's has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.
Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Olallo House is in central London and offers accommodation and specialist client-focused support to street homeless men and women. Clients to the service include migrants, victims of modern-day slavery / trafficking, TB patients and homeless people on discharge from hospital – non-UK and UK nationals, all deemed vulnerable due to a range of factors which may also include substance misuse and poor mental and/or physical health. We focus on holistic support services encompassing the whole person and within this, health and well-being services play a significant role in the support we provide. Advice, skills training and employment support is offered to all clients and this features significantly during each client's stay at Olallo House. We have a highly skilled and multi-lingual staff team able to communicate in a wide range of languages. Our goal is to ensure that any person who comes into contact with our services does not return to street homelessness. We believe that this best achieved by working in partnership.

Sankofa Storytelling Arts empowers children and young people by fostering agency and creativity to express themselves through applied theatre, drama storytelling and arts - contributing to finding solutions and ideas on personal, community and global issues important to them. Issues are age appropriate, SEN embedded and include topics such as wellbeing, community responsibility, leadership and social mobility. Two of our services feature Summer and Winter School (which includes a free hot meal) and estate based after school workshops for children and families. We primarily deliver these services within Camden and surrounding areas of socio-economic challenges. We aim to continually foster: - Soft skills of effective communication, collaboration and quiet leadership. - For the children and young people cohorts; develop confidence, agency, artistic and solution based approaches using the arts. - Using the platform of Applied Theatre, crafts and storytelling to create meaningful conversations and positive memories. Food donated to Sankofa will be distributed both during the classes and collected by their families. Most importantly, food donations contribute towards many of their lunches or evening meals in the truest sense of the word. We thank you all for heavily subsidising their wellbeing via surplus foods and volunteering. We're a growing micro team with big aspirations and this 2025 are converting our organisation model to become a charity. Please contact us for details of any of the above points and thank you.
