Supporting vulnerable mental health customers in supported Housing – we provide temporary supported housing services to homeless vulnerable people, who live in our projects. We have a combination off shared houses and independent flats to house vulnerable people Assessments based on referrals from linked agencies, local council, mental health team, probation, and social services. support with Housing to reduce homelessness, life skills, cooking skills, shopping planning, money management, debt and budgeting support, support sessions, risk assessments, referrals to other linked agencies for additional support, move on goal planning, help with sourcing donated furniture and becoming independent to eventually move on into independent accommodation.

We are House of Restoration, a charity organization committed to restoring hope and dignity to people and families in need. Our mission is to fight hunger, reduce poverty, and provide essential support to those facing difficult times. Through community programs, food distribution, and social assistance, we work to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry. Tell us about your premises or where your project operates from I don’t have a specific premises for my activities. I’m based at my home, and I also operate some of my social work through my local church. Who do you help and how do you find them? How do you identify the people who need your services? I identify people in need through my church community. There, I meet families and individuals who are struggling including unemployed people, families with children, and those undergoing cancer treatment who cannot work. Together with my family (my husband, my mother, and a small group of volunteers), we collect food and deliver it directly to these homes. What support are you looking to receive from Neighbourly and how will this help you? (food surplus/volunteering/grants) We would love to receive food surplus donations to support vulnerable families in our community. This would help us reach more people in need and provide consistent support to those who are facing financial and health challenges. Do you charge for your services? Just so we understand your operating model No, we don’t charge for anything. All food is distributed completely free of charge. I don’t receive any salary or payment this is a purely social and voluntary mission that comes from my heart, with a desire to spread love, generosity, and compassion to those in need. Looprun is a response division and part of an independent social enterprise called Glass Mill Social Enterprise C.I.C. This is more than food and is part of a platform called RSBA1 (Response, Sustain, Build, Achieve). A free supportive services platform to help people get back on their feet. With up to 94% success rate and seeing once those receiving free Looprun response bags to returning to stores as shoppers with baskets full. These are the happy stories created when all come together to do good for good. Service users are signposted to Looprun mostly from referrals including professionals in social and healthcare. Looprun provides free non perishables, perishable food, toiletries, and clothing to people facing a challenge. Whatever you can do is turned into a grateful donation to a neighbour in need. As everything given and everybody counts. No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun food donations can include fresh fruit, vegetables, bakery items and non perishables. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with your food donations. Therefore we need your help to ensure we can supply the demand in this crisis. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle. We, therefore, are a platform for a voice to be heard in the community and share life changing stories. It would be great to have more partners become part of these stories in your local community.
