A community cupboard based on Muschamp Road, Carshalton… Run by Diana, along with Kerry, Ankit Muschamp Community Cupboard is open 24/7 for all members of the local community to have access to fresh fruit and vegetables, tinned and dried foods, along with sanitary/personal hygiene products. Located outside No 70 Muschamp Road, the cupboard is always accessible (subject to local road restrictions for drivers). Anyone is welcome to receive and donate items to the cupboard, The cupboard is run on an honesty basis, and works on a “Take what you need, Give what you can” methodology. All items available are free of charge and have been donated via local businesses, members of the community or collected from various businesses participating in food waste schemes The Muschamp Community Cupboard team work in close collaboration with Community Champions (www.communitychampions.uk) who support the cupboard with regular donations of non perishable items. Donations are regularly received from various food surplus collections from Waitrose, Pret-a-Manger, Getir and Sainsburys amongst others. The Muschamp team also assist in topping up other local community cupboards enabling food surplus to reach far and wide. Alongside the cupboard, emergency food parcels are also organised on an ad hoc basis - and often include frozen goods saved from supermarket food waste collections. We are a charity organisation: Dominion House international (Dominion Gospel Church). We have a food bank called Joseph's Storehouse, serving people in need in Thornton Heath and its surrounding area with food and toiletries. This can be found at 280 Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, CR7 7JE. It started 3 years ago to support our church members and the elderly among the church in home delivery form. During the pandemic it has been extended to the community, who are able to come to us to collect or to request delivery if they are unable to come in. Presently, we have about 40 to 50 people we serve every week and the turn up is increasing weekly. Currently, the church and some of its members are funding Joseph's Storehouse but it is not enough to cater for the turn up every week. We would be very grateful if you and your team could help/support this food bank, we do not want to stop as the people we serve depend on the food bank for their daily provisions. I came across your organisation's great work in supporting charity organisations like ours in Croydon and its surrounding areas. I am not sure if we are eligible but we would be very grateful if your organisation could support us so that together we can build a better Croydon. image.png

We run a center to help the homeless and vulnerable in Wallington 35 Manor rd Wallington SM6 0BW 07802 225073 They come in to have showers hot food and to get help where is need we are open Monday 8am-6pm Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8am-4pm Friday 8am-6pm Saturday 8am-11am We are always looking for volunteers and would love for you to get in touch. One random act of kindness could be the difference between life and death for a person living on the street. Every new day is a chance to change someones life and make a difference!
