How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

St Matt’s Community Larder started in November 2020 at the Bethel Hall in High Brooms, a spacious and accessible location in the heart of the community. There are areas of social deprivation within the community, reflected in high rates of pupil premium children in the local primary school . The larder is an opportunity to provide affordable good quality food to local families and individuals, especially in these difficult times of increasing job losses and financial pressure, whilst also reducing food wastage.
