We are a locally volunteer run Community Fridge - we reduce waste by collecting food from local shops and putting them in the fridge daily for the residents to collect and use.

The Community Fridge exists to ensure that less food is wasted and becomes part of landfill. This is done by food outlets donating what would otherwise be thrown away to people who collect that food and take it to a Community Fridge (ours being in the church hall car park in a purpose-built shed.) We also accept donations from individuals who are able to donate surplus produce from their gardens or allotments. They must stick to the guidelines of what can and cannot be donated. The Community Fridge is advertised on Facebook, both on our own Community Fridge page and on the "Wilton & Sherford Community" page, in the local church community and by word of mouth and then anyone can come to collect five items of food from there. We are NOT a Food Bank where people need to be referred to use it. Anyone can come along and take a five items of food . This may well reach people in need but equally the purpose of the Community Fridge is simply to avoid waste. There is no stigma attached to using a Community Fridge

We provide youth and community services and operate both within a local catchment area covering; Wellington, Wiveliscombe, Taunton, and the smaller villages across Taunton Deane and West Somerset and across the wider geographical area of Somerset. We provides professional youth work support and advice to young people, relating to issues prevalent to themselves, their communities and their environment. Our programmes provide informal educational activities that support personal, social, emotional and professional development, as well as expanding skills and experiences, boosting self-esteem and confidence while promoting teamwork and citizenship. We are flexible in our approach, ensuring that the activities that we offer are relevant to the young people we work with. MISSION STATEMENT “The ethos of our delivery is to provide quality services for young people and communities who otherwise would not receive support where they can feel safe and supported to aspire and to achieve in their lives through activities and programmes which are designed to capture and release their potential”. VISION Our aim is to help young adults learn and develop through informal educational activities which combine enjoyment, challenge and learning. ITMP will work with young people and communities, to create opportunities, provide positive activity & encourage social action. It is our vision to support young people achieve and develop in their young lives. We will do this by undertaking the following; - Our youth and community workers will develop and offer a programme of activities which promote young people’s development, are enjoyable and engaging, educational and challenging, and encourage young people to work together and prosper. - We will offer information, advice, guidance and counselling services to help young people make sense of their lives and their future, offering varying levels of support according to their needs. - We will work with communities to create a more harmonious environment for all residents, we will support young people achieve, influence and become more involved in their local area and feel able to contribute and affect positive change and outcomes.
