We reach out to our local community with food parcels and also meals. We fight to alleviate poverty and make sure people have food to eat and also ensure that food is not wasted. We also provide support to children and families in the community. We are able to achieve our vision and carry out our activities through free will donations and support from community members, food surplus which we share to people. We are a religious charity group based in Mansfield and support approximately 150 people weekly including adults and children. We currently operate from Trinity Methodist Church at the address below. 117 Clipstone Road W 117 Clipstone Road West Forest Town Mansfield NG19 0BT United Kingdom We also had the Environmental Health team visited us on 08/10/2024 for Food Safety Inspection and we were awarded 5 star rating. We are in the process of acquiring and moving to our own property and that would be our permanent operation site. We hope to move within the next 4-6 weeks. The Environmental Health team at Mansfield District Council is aware of the proposed relocation The new address would be : Methodist Church Bridge Street MANSFIELD NG18 2HA Service users are members of the church community and we also share with our neighbours in the community as shown in the pictures on our page. In addition, we are also planning to run a weekly soup kitchen for homeless people when we get to our permanent property. We are currently registered with Fareshare UK and we collect surplus from 2 different Tesco Extra stores located at Chesterfield road south and Jubilee way,(both in Mansfield). We just secured approval from Fareshare UK to collect food surplus from main Asda, forest town also in Mansfield.

After 4 years of running CRS Foodshare, sadly we are as busy as we ever were. The needs never stop and we are so grateful to those who's support helps us to continue. Thank you for grants and donations, without them & you up to 40 families would go without food every week.

YMCA Robin Hood Group (formally Nottinghamshire YMCA) was established in 1871 to develop the mind, body and spirit of individuals, families and communities. Donations will be used for the following: Supported Accommodation for homeless people including our hostel and Transitional homes in the community; Residential Care Homes for Looked After Children; Children's Services such as Day Camps and Childcare; Youth Services such as Outdoor Education, Creative Arts and Digital Media; Health and Fitness, improving health for All Communities. We YMCA specialise in supporting hard-to-reach, challenging, vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. We are proud to deliver innovative programmes that make a positive difference to people, raising aspirations and supporting some of the most disadvantaged and marginalised people across the county. The disadvantages these communities face, include financial, disability, social, mental, physical, homelessness, among others. We provide direction, guidance and support and are committed to delivering high quality, accessible, life-changing, development opportunities that improve people’s health, education, confidence, transferable life skills, increase positive behaviours, and encourage them into education, employment or training.
