How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Union Road Community Church

Accrington, UK

We are a community church based on the main road in Oswaldtwistle. We currently support families in the town with food deliveries as they struggle to get out. We are also open Tuesday and Saturday morning for food Market. Our connection with the local primary schools is growing as we look to support them physically and spiritually. Each Monday morning Noah's ark is open for preschool age little ones and their carers. All in the church on union road. Friday mornings we also have a team out on the streets meeting with people going and into the local businesses to meet any needs pastoral or practical.
