We are a large community centre in the heart of Winlaton. Run by the community for the community. The centre is run by volunteers. We provide emergency food and access to Free food at 2 markets each week. Our charity collect surplus food from local supermarkets (Marks & Spencer, The Co-op and Tesco) which may be past its best before date and which would usually end up as waste, we sort and offer it to our local community. The produce is also used to make healthy and nutritious meals for our lunch clubs and to give out to local people in need. WE also offer a variety of classes and clubs, sport and fitness, parent and toddler groups, lunch clubs for older people and access to professional services. Registered charity 1160323

To give food hampers to families and single people who are having financial hardship or experiencing poverty and give information of any other organisations that can be of support to them. To open homeless drop in to feed, cloth and shelter homeless people and show them compassion. To support women who were victims of dosmetic violence and could not remain in the home and are being sheltered. Our project operate from 94 Blandford street, NE1 3BT. Newcastle. On a daily basis we see Seniors, single mothers, low-income workers, people on social assistance, and immigrants walk into our church food bank for assistance and food support which we have been giving them.. We provide free training and skills acquisitions empowerment seminar that will enable participants who are jobless to get back to work. We don't collect food from any other retailer. We don't involve the press in our activities because it comes at additional cost.

Hi, we are a maintained Nursery School in Elswick, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Our school has been running for nearly 100 years, the building is listed and and is over 200 years old. We are situated in a deprived and diverse area of Newcastle, we support children and families in a variety of ways, such as providing children with free daily snack, and lunches. We rely on donations of Food, toys, homeware and other items to support our families in their time of need. We will signpost them to other organisations when we can to ensure everyone has the same chances to thrive. In our Nursery we aim to create a safe, exciting, well planned, stimulating environment where every child and family will learn to his/her full potential and have the confidence to succeed regardless of background or circumstances. Ashfield Nursery has a dynamic , positive image with a clear identity, which stands for excellence. We are the firm foundations building future for the individual and the community
