How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Christ Ladder Ministries

London, UK

At Christ Ladder Ministries, we work with local food banks and pantries to distribute surplus food to those experiencing food insecurity. We use surplus food to create community meals or soup kitchens, providing nourishment fostering a sense of community and directing surplus food toward vulnerable groups, such as homeless individuals, refugees, or low-income families. As the number is increasing from 150, we request more assistance from more organisations, hence the need for neighbourly to align our charitable work with other sponsors.
