Chipping Barnet Foodbank is a charitable organisation that provides emergency food assistance and comprehensive support to individuals and families facing poverty in the London Borough of Barnet. Beyond distributing food parcels, we offer a range of support services to our clients including benefits advice, debt support, housing and employment advice, a digital inclusion service, and client signposting to other local resources. The foodbank collaborates with various community partners and engages in advocacy efforts to address the root causes of food insecurity. Through a combination of direct aid, community outreach, and policy engagement, we work towards our vision of alleviating poverty and creating a society where food banks are no longer necessary. Our approach is holistic, aiming to provide immediate relief while also contributing to long-term solutions for poverty in the local community.

Supporting families across the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas since March 2018 to reduce costs and save money, reduce waste and the amount that goes to landfill and finally, create a stronger community spirit. At Mamas Bristol, we believe in the power of community and collective action to create positive change. We are more than just a Facebook group, an organisation or any one person - we are a movement. A movement dedicated to making a difference in the lives of families, our communities, and the world we share.

We cover the whole of Teignbridge district within Devon, we provide food parcels/support for anyone who is in need, we work with many organisations within our district who provide referrals to our food bank, we also provide starter packs where people have been displaced from their homes. Each food parcel we provide is aimed at providing support for 5 days emergency relief. The food parcels offer a balanced diet and include things such as juice, milk, bread, sausages, fresh fruit and vegetables, cakes, tinned produce such as soup, beans, vegetables, rice, pasta, tea or coffee, sugar, cereal, and tinned meat meals. The size of each food parcel is made up based on the size of each family and is carefully put together by one of our 50 strong team of volunteers. Obviously, parcels may vary throughout the seasons depending on what donations are made by the partners that support us. We also supply toiletry packs, cleaning and laundry products subject to availability.
