Hope Nature Centre - Animal Park refurbishment

The Hope Nature Centre is a registered charity (No. 1080993) that was set up in 2000 to help provide work placements for young adults with learning difficulties. A nature centre set in 15 acres of country park with alpacas, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, pigs & other animals, a tea room serving freshly cooked (and highly acclaimed) meals, a play area and small gift shop. We cater for small groups, families and individuals in a disability friendly environment. Currently we have a project of refurbishment in the Animal Park which includes * Building a new standing stand area within the donkey enclosure * Resurfacing and levelling all the pathways around the park to make it more accessibly for wheelchairs, buggies and the infirm - giving park access to all * Setting up a community bus in the park which can be used by all, including children for classroom and curriculum learning, parties, gatherings, reading clubs, craft times, teddy bear picnics etc * Making a fairy wood * Making new robust and waterproof signs for all the animal enclosures with information & details The charity always needs help and support to complete these projects. We rely heavily on donations and volunteers to help complete works
