Save the World Club (SWC) is an environmental creative arts, education and entertainment charity. At SWC’s heart is a commitment to improving the well-being of individuals and communities and protecting the environment demonstrating imaginative skills and solutions and having fun, so we can all live in healthier and more sustainable ways. SWC was set up 30 years ago by Des Kay. The organisation was primarily concerned with Des using recycled materials to create unique kinetic and mechanical structures which told children and family audiences stories of waste and gave other important environmental messages. After many successful years, Professor Kayoss is a legend and SWC has grown to an organisation with thousands of committed supporters. Over the years, we have created Award-winning large community mosaic artworks with thousands involved throughout the process of creation. Using waste materials, many are on display around Kingston Town and the Borough. Our remit for cutting waste extends to monitoring what gets thrown away, and rescuing items able to be recirculated, either as themselves, or through upcycling to something else. We are also key collectors of surplus food that we distribute daily, to local charities, institutions and others in need.

We are a community group which has been set up to help work towards a more intergrated and sociable Armley Town Street. Our aim is for Armley Town Street and beyond to be a safer and family friendly shopping experience for all who live, work and play here. We are an umbrella group which support the establishment of sub groups to work on separate aspects of the community development. Examples of the subgroups are an Armley in Bloom group, and Armley Festival and entertainments Team, a litter picking and social impact team and a business support group. We are a volunteer group so we are relying on the expertise and time of individuals within our community to help to make this a cohesive and successful and sustainable project.

Attwood Community Enrichment was set up to enhance and enrich the lives of the community in the Edgbaston Area. We are a group of Volunteers that run a small mobile community hub offering a range of services to meet the needs of our local community. Over the last 4 years we have expanded on our original goal of providing opportunities and Experiences to bring our community together and alongside our group of community volunteers and other organisations we now provide the following. *Mental health advice & Support *Money Management Courses, advice and Support *Benefit advice and Support We also signpost to other agencies who can offer more specialist support. We plan and organise day trips and Experiences for all members of our community as well as community days where everybody can come together locally. On a weekly Basis we run Attwood Elders over 50's Group and An English Conversation group for speakers of other languages . We also provide food parcels to those that are in need of them, We are aiming to expand the amount of community members we are able to help, with a long term goal of finding premises to run a community Cafe, in the meantime we offer the service in various venues in the Edgbaston Area. We are always greatful for any help and support from wherever it is offered be it, donations of food, toys clothing, advice on funding pots we can apply for, Volunteers at events etc anyway people would like to involve themselves dont hesitate to get in touch.
