The All Night Cafe began in 2015, as a response to a growing local homeless need. The Cafe has welcomed more than 500 customers since then and provides a dinner, overnight and breakfast service seven nights a week. Run by a team of volunteers, we are always hoping to involve visitors and our community, to help with outdoor and indoor maintenance, volunteering and food outreach to local families. During the lockdown we extended to community food outreach and feed around 500 people weekly We do our own fundraising and our mission is that no one should be hungry and no one should be homeless. Supported by local supermarket chains and stores, the All Night Cafe was only ever meant to be a winter project. After our initial set up, the task took off and we are busy all the time. We value all kinds of support or behind thee scenes activities. Its great fun, but hard too. But our team are first class and many of our ex customers help run the cafe or volunteer and get involved, which is a great joy and makes it unique. People can literally just turn up to our outreach,if they are in need, we aim to offer a warm and friendly welcome and we aim also to keep on keeping on and reduce food waste and feed hundreds!
