TK Maxx Manchester Fort

We protect wild spaces and enthuse the next generation with nature across Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside. Billions of tiny plastic pellets, known as 'nurdles' are lost into the UK environment each year. These can significantly harm marine wildlife once they make it into the sea. We will run a series of community nurdle hunts where groups come out onto the beach and learn about nurdles and their impact on the marine environment. We will deliver sessions to local schools enthusing them about all the fabulous wildlife that lives in the Irish Sea and what they can do to protect it.
