Environmental clean up

We aim to host an environmental clean up in partnership with our local schools and residents. We hope to make a positive impact on the appearance of our local environment with litter picking, signage , adding plants and flowers to enhance our community. Staff consulted with children about what items we needed to buy for our clean up. Staff listened to the children and purchased a selection of items including: Litter pickers, fluorescent tabards, soil, plants, brushes, planters, shovels and loppers. We plan to join with our local community to tidy up surrounding areas and make them pleasant to the eye with flowers and new planters etc. We will work with a local school, sheltered housing complex and the local residential home.
