We're passionate about creating a future where everywhere is vibrant and green, every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny and where everyone can reach their potential. Groundwork in Greater Manchester helps to change places and change lives across parts of Greater Manchester by bringing people and the environment together with practical local action, tackling climate change by helping people out of fuel poverty, bringing out the best in young people by helping them to improve their local area, building stronger communities by improving green space and by getting people back into work by creating green jobs. We have strong connections with our communities across Greater Manchester who are starting to reignite their ideas, ambitions and plans for the future. Some are in need of helping hands to support them in bouncing back. Their needs vary and we welcome volunteers who want to help enhance a green space, perhaps sponsor a young person to achieve their aspirations, or sponsor and help to create an eco-street or simply help to bring their much loved spaces and places back to life.
