The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire is committed to protecting our region's wildlife and supporting local communities. Our 120+ nature reserves exist to provide habitats for a variety of fauna and flora, and areas for people to visit and enjoy. We work to encourage people to recognise and appreciate their local nature reserves and the benefits they can have on health and wellbeing. This means we spend much of our time and effort working with communities and companies to create, maintain and improve these areas to further benefit everyone. It is vital to keep them clean, safe and welcoming (for people and wildlife!) all year round.. We therefore thank TK Maxx / Homesense for their generous Environmental Grant funding, and their staff for understanding and valuing the help our wildlife and landscapes need. These funds will assist with a variety of work we do across the three counties - for example, scrub and path clearance, litter picking, river clean-ups - and will help us improve habitats for the wildlife that needs our help now more than ever.
