Keyworth Primary School
London, UK
We have a Key Stage 1 playground that is in desperate need of refurbishment. The current playground has very old and limited play equipment and provides no real stimulation for the children's play and learning development. We would like to install planting areas so that the children can learn about growing plants and vegetables, install an outdoor sheltered quiet/ reading area and create spaces where the children can learn through play by making textured learning / play spaces. Keyworth has a very diverse local community, of which the majority of children live in flats, so outdoor space such as this would provide them with invaluable stimulation and opportunity to play and learn outside. We are also a school with one of the highest numbers of EAL, SEN and FSM in the country (in the top 20% across all areas in the country) so space such as this would make a huge difference to their learning and every day development. We would be eternally grateful for any help that can be given in support of our school and the children.
