We are a community cafe in the heart of Patchway. We encourage healthy eating in a budget. We are supported by fareshare and donations. We have a community fridge which is stocked weekly with fresh produce. This is a free service to anyone who needs a helping hand.

Supporting families across the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas since March 2018 to reduce costs and save money, reduce waste and the amount that goes to landfill and finally, create a stronger community spirit. At Mamas Bristol, we believe in the power of community and collective action to create positive change. Our ethos is rooted in a multiple pronged approach; affordability, sustainability, and inclusivity across the community. Affordability: We are committed to supporting families by providing access to resources and solutions that reduce costs of living with and raising dependents. By offering practical guidance, we aim to alleviate financial pressures and empower families to thrive.  Sustainability: We recognise the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. That's why we promote and work towards sustainable practices & promote opportunities that minimise waste and environmental impact.  Community: At the heart of everything we do, is a strong sense of community. We believe in the strength of solidarity and collaboration to address common challenges and achieve shared goals. By fostering connections and building relationships, we create a support network where families can find solidarity, encouragement, and inspiration. We are more than just a Facebook group, an organisation or any one person - we are a movement. A movement dedicated to making a difference in the lives of families, our communities, and the world we share.

Stoke Lodge is a dynamic and inspiring school with big ambitions! We believe that all children can achieve excellence and that a quality primary education enables pupils to believe in themselves, achieve beyond their expectations and develop the skills needed to succeed and enjoy life. With this said many of our families struggle with basic essential items. We believe that this will impact on our learners’ spiritual, emotional and cultural, health and well-being which are as important as their academic achievements. We take pride in our commitment to our families and the children we educate and it is our aim through the support of the local community that we can provide more than just an education but a feeling of community within our school. Through this scheme we hope to set up a breakfast bar for those vulnerable families to ensure they have a good start to their day and that they are ready to learn. Food donated on a weekly basis will be used to provide meals for those families who would otherwise go without and for educational support with regards to teaching families how to cook healthy, nutritious food on a budget. Food parcels will be available directly from school for our families who find themselves in crisis and cant wait for a food bank voucher.
