We are a register charity, and we help with the relief of poverty among children and their families. The majority of families we support are struggling financially to make ends meet. We redistributes the surplus food we collects to families / individuals in need on Monday to Friday, but Tuesdays and Fridays are the main designated days for the food bank, whilst other days are for people with health issues. clothing, school uniforms / school supplies, small household goods, and toiletries redistribution days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We help low income families / individuals in need, refugees, asylum seeker, and homeless people. We occasionally provide home work club for children under 16 years of age, and also support with recreational activities through schools giving local families opportunities to access and be included in activities such as school trips, and visits to cultural sites, etc. We provide information, and signpost families / individuals to other service providers for individuals progression. We provide a range of recreational opportunities for local families, particularly those from low income backgrounds who otherwise would not be able to afford these opportunities.

The Whitechapel Centre is the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. We work with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels or struggling to manage their accommodation. We are committed to helping people find and maintain a home and learn the life skills essential for independent living.

SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES IN SUPPORTED LIVING. Devonshire Road are seeking your support to help people we support that have enduring mental health issue. What premises does your project operate from? We support 13 residents across one site to remain living independently providing high quality; person-centred care and support, creating a place where people want to live and can thrive. We operate out of 3 Devonshire road in Liverpool. How do you identify service users and their needs? We identify service users that need food donation through budgeting and meal planning support offered by staff. Food donations are redistributed to service users who have been identified to be financially unstable due to their personal circumstances and would benefit from the food donations for a varied and healthy diet and the extra support. We believe this will enrich the lives of people we support so they do not go without. Are there any other services provided by your organisation other than food support? Devonshire road is a supported living accommodation with 13 service users. We provide support for people with mental health needs in accessing the community and helping the people we support get the help they need in the community. We also organise Sunday roast dinners and tea and coffee meet ups for the people we support. Is there a charge for the service(s) provided by your organisation? The Accommodation is funded by local authorities and people that live here are funded by the Local authorities. Activities like the Tea and Coffee and Sunday roast are provided for Free. Do you currently collect surplus food from any other retailers? No, we are currently not collecting surplus food from any other retailers. This is why we have registered an account on Neighborly.
